Chick-fil-A Bowl, as I have mentioned, is a yearly football bowl game played by student athletes from American colleges and universities. The game is played yearly in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Dome since 1992. The first 3 games (1968-70) were played on Grant Field (now called Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field)– a football stadium located on Georgia Institute of Technology campus. The succeeding games after that (until the year 1991) were played at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium – a multi-purpose stadium in Georgia but was demolished in 1997.

Did you know? Chick-fil-A Bowl was first created as a fund-raising event governed by Georgia Lions Club. But then, after a few years, the event was turned-over to Chamber of Commerce.

Chick-fil-A is a restaurant industry chain (fast food) based in Georgia. The company is known for their chicken meal courses. The Chick-fil-A from Atlanta sponsored the Peach Bowl games since 1997.
