About Kings Of Leon:
Kings of Leon, a rock band created in Tennessee, is touring Georgia! Are you psyched? I am telling you, we so are! The band is composed of the Followill brothers – Anthony Caleb, Ivan Nathan, Michael Jared and their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill. Kings of Leon plays around with different genres which include pop rock, garage rock revival, hard rock and southern rock. Formed in 1999, the band has received a lot of success already.
Kings of Leon was able to release their 1st album titled ‘Youth & Young Manhood’ in 2003. ‘Red Morning Light’ which is a single in this album owned the number 1 spot at the UK Singles Chart. In 2005, they released their 2nd studio album, ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’. This album has a Parental Advisory warning. Some of the notable singles/songs in this album are ‘The Bucket’, ‘Four Kicks’ and ‘King of the Rodeo’.
‘Because of the Times’ was the title of their 3rd album. Released in 2007, the album acquired a lot of positive reviews. The album peaked number 1 in Ireland, New Zealand and U.K. Their 4th album ‘Only by the Night’ was released in 2008. Kings of Leon’s ‘Only by the Night’ album won the 2009 Brit Awards’ Best International Album. The same year, it also won the Best International Album at the Meteor Awards and Best Album at NME Awards. In 2010, the album won the Best International Album at the Juno Awards. Also, this album was nominated at the 51st Grammy Awards for the Best Rock Album.
Kings of Leon’s latest album, ‘Come Around Sundown’ was released in 2010. This album owned the number 1 spot at the Australian Albums Chart, Austrian Albums Chart, U.S. Alternative Albums, and U.S. Rock Albums.
