Fabulous Fox Theatre Events and Shows

The Fox is often host to some of the biggest musicals that come to Atlanta, although it does feature events like rock acts as well. Aside from musicals, it’s common for the theatre to be the venue of choice for performances of ballet and other sophisticated dancing shows. Throughout November and December 2010, the Atlanta Ballet will be performing The Nutcracker at the Fox.

Fabulous Fox Theatre Private Ballrooms

Aside from the many events hosted at the Fox Theatre, there are also opportunities to hire one of the three opulent rooms designed for private functions. The ballrooms are named the Egyptian Ballroom, the Grand Salon and the Landmarks Lounge. The Egyptian Ballroom was decorated in accordance with the style that became popular after the discovery of King Tut’s Tomb in 1922. Both the Egyptian Ballroom and the Grand Salon provide luxurious settings for any event you may wish to put on, from a seminar to a wedding reception or post-show party.

Community Involvement

The Fox Theatre runs several programs designed to benefit the youth of the city. These include Camp Broadway, a summer camp based around learning the performing arts for kids aged 11 to 17. Another program run by the theatre is the Rising Stars workshop, which helps youngsters improve their stage performance skills.
