About the Russian National Ballet Theatre

The Russian National Ballet Theatre has been around since 1984. During that time in history, Russia was embracing creativity in all aspects of entertainment, particularly in ballet since the art of ballet has always been a big deal in Russia. In the past, the country did not have the freedom to enjoy the art of dance as they wished, and it became possible in this decade in history. There are approximately 35 dancers that make up the Russian National Ballet Theatre, and the director of the ballet is Elena Radchenko, who has received much critical praise for her work with the theatre.

Russian National Ballet Theatre Dances

The Russian National Ballet does several different dances throughout each show. Sometimes the ballet puts on special shows, such as “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker.” In addition to these, the ballet has also performed to music by Bach, Mozart, and several other classical composers. The Russian National Ballet are known worldwide, and there are very few other ballet theatres that are considered up to par with this one. Russia takes ballet very seriously, and some of the dancers have been enrolled in dance academies in the country for several years, spending much of their lives perfecting the art of dance. Every individual show the ballet puts on is carefully thought through from beginning to end by the director and several choreographers. The end result is a rare treat for everyone, even those who believe they don’t enjoy ballet.
